Hands in paint
Fingertips aching
Dripping
With artistic desire
To paint
The indescribable
As I embrace
Your nakedness
Physical and emotional
With my poet’s eyes
Rationality abandoned
Senses awakened
I surrender to the unknown
For my heart is my guide
And love is my gravity
Hands in paint
Fingertips aching
Dripping
With ardor and fervor
I watch you
Come alive
Through my poet’s eyes

This piece was one of those poems that just poured out onto the paper – completely unplanned. I wasn’t even going to post it at first. My writing process is usually quite slow but very dedicated. 🙂 I am flattered that you like them.

Amazing words. A poet can see the beauty in war or joy. I like your thoughts and good visions create by your poem.
