The day refuses to die
evening birds
quietly comfort
the wordless sky
Bittersweet concerto
inspires me to write
my own
but some poems
are better left
unwritten
The day
refuses to die
raindrops lie
on sleepy flowers
perfectly still
like sorrow
almost forgotten

Yes I do believe “some poems are better left unwritten” because they convey a lot!
Thanks and regards Noora 🙂

SAo happy to see a writing of your, Noora! Your poem, combined with the photograph you chose to share together with it, gave me an illusion of our dreams, whatever they may be, refusing to stop dreaming.

That first stanza is so beautiful. I also like the coy, wavering hope that will hopefully win out. =)

… hope is a stubborn force. It dies slowly – even if the mind has given up long ago. Thank you for your comment! Sending love and inspiration your way.

Beautifully put, dear Noora… ” But some poems/ Are better left/ Unwritten”… I love those verses… I guess that most times what we truly feel, is left unsaid… maybe the same thing happens with written words… such as here… Sending love and best wishes. Aquileana 😀

It’s ironic that I wrote those lines, because I’ve always said that everything in this life is worth writing about… perhaps that poem wasn’t. Ha ha. Thank you so much for reading and posting a comment, sweetie. It’s always intriguing to read your thoughts. Have a wonderful weekend. ❤

Teija’s photography is very dreamy and heartfelt. I’m a big fan of her style.
“Perfectly still / like sorrow / almost forgotten” were the first lines I had in my mind when I started writing this one.

The unwritten still seems to stay in the brain, but after the years I often find there are pieces that can then be written 🙂
